COVID-19 Disaster Payments

The Australian Government has declared Adelaide Metro, Adelaide Hills and Gawler areas as Hotspot locations which are applicable for the COVID-19 Disaster Payments.

Under this scheme it provides $375 per week for those workers who have lost between 8 and 20 hours per week or have lost a full day of work; and $600 per week if a person has lost over 20 hours of work.

South Australian Government has declared they will match these payments to all South Australians workers who are outside the Commonwealth Hotspot to ensure all South Australians are receiving the support they need.

Any person wishing to claim these payments can do via the Services Australia website soon at www.servicesaustralia.gov.au
