Update: Financial Support for SA Small Businesses
During our recent state lockdown the South Australian Government announced a support package due to trading restrictions from 20th July 2021.

New Grant for Businesses affected by Trading Restrictions
From 13th August, South Australian Small to Medium Businesses will be able to apply to access a further support package for businesses as they continue to recovery from the current state enforced lockdown and covid trading restrictions.
Eligibility for this new $3,000 grant is:
Located in South Australia;
Have a valid and active ABN and be registered for GST;
Employee people within South Australia;
Have payroll of less than $10 million in the 2020 financial year;
Operate in an eligible industry sector – see this link for the full listing (https://www.treasury.sa.gov.au/Growing-South-Australia/COVID-19/eligible-anzsic-classes)
Turnover reduced by at least 30 per cent due to restricted trading conditions over the two weeks from 28th July 2021 to 10th August 2021 compared to an average fortnightly turnover in the June quarter, prior to restrictions.
A $1,000 cash grant for non-employing businesses is available, provided the above criteria is met excluding the payroll provision.
An additional $1,000 is available for eligible businesses with a commercial premise in the Adelaide CBD (postcode 5000) due to the increased impact of people working from home.
Applications for this new grant close on 17th October 2021.
